Our Club had a great day at the first meeting of the year.  We were excited to begin our new club year and reunite after our summer break.  Our design schedule included three classes.  This blog showcases our Class 1 entries.  Look at the following blog posts for additional classes and horticulture, plus our program with Barbara Dillard.

Our Design Schedule for this month included    -  Class 2  titled "Garden Art"  Rule 3, sculptural designs.

The Club's design schedule had three classses.  This one was titled "Delicate Diversion" and was a Rule 4 (miniature) and all fresh.  Just a reminder that these designs had to becontained within five inches.

Our Club had a host of great horticulgure exhibited and there were several green ribbons awarded to outstanding specimens.

Our Club kicked off the year in a grand way.  There were lots of entrees in both the design and horticulture categories.  Our progra speaker, Barbara Dillard, demonstrated great designs as you will see.  Let's start with Barbara's pics and go on to our club members entrees.

Dramatic Creative Floral Designs

When browsing through websites for the inspiration for this blog post, I came across some amazing pictures of dramatic floral design.  These arrangements are works of art by some gifted designers.  Hats off to you all and thanks for showing us your beautiful talent.

The design with the pink ribbon can be defined as a multi-rhythmic design,  the deep red glads is a Luminary design, the white lilies is a creative design, and the deep maroon anthuriums is also creative.
