Fashion with Flowers event

The Richmond Council of Garden Clubs hosted their 20th annual Fashion with Flowers fundraising event at the Second Baptist church of Richmond today.  The annual fundraiser combines a floral program, fashion show, and luncheon.  Each of the 30 clubs who make up the Council donated centerpieces using a springtime theme.  Approximately 100 ladies enjoyed the event.

The Fashion Show was presented by Dillard's of Short Pump Mall.

Today's floral design program showcased David Pippin and Bridgette Swepston.  Bridget is a sculptor and floral designer. She creates metal pieces that go well with all types of plant material.  David is a talented designer and fun program presenter. Together they presented beautiful ways to combine sculptures and flowers.  For additional info, you can see David's designs at davidpippin.biz or email him at david@davidpippin.biz Bridgette can be reached at jaswepston@comcast.net
